ODYSSEY(9)brand identity

A competition finalist project for Pearlfisher exploring a graphic identity for a product made possible by life on Mars created for use back on Earth.

I developed a sunscreen facial moisturiser inspired by Martian conditions, using themes of time, radiation, and preservation. Built around NMN technology and minerals such as Tridymite Quartz, the concept treats the human body as a vessel exposed to radiation everywhere, not just in space. The product centres on protection and longevity, essential both for planetary living and astronaut travel.

The tone of voice rejects the negative connotation of “anti-aging,” instead, framing the brand around health, preservation, and respect for natural aging. The identity reflects this positive, grounded perspective.

The project spans brand identity, concept and packaging design, After Effects work, and both a documented process publication and a final outcome publication. Inspired by old astronomy textbooks, the typography maintains a clear hierarchy with subtle modern dissolving elements. The main visual mark emerged through analog experimentation—ink and gouache shapes expressing the emotions, environments, and imperfections that form the narrative of human life.
